What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Service Worker position at SIEOC Head Start?
FAMILY SERVICE WORKER
36 hours/week; 48 weeks/year
Responsibilities: Engages families involved in the Head Start program through home-based services, addressing the complex issues which limit many families in achieving self-sufficiency.
Requirements: High School Diploma / GED required. One year of experience working with families and direct client assistance is required. Once employed, on-going training in family development, including parenting, is required.
Starting Rate of Pay: $ 18.49 /hour
SIEOC offers a comprehensive benefits package for full time employees (30 – 40 hours per week) including: Health, Dental and Life insurance, Paid holidays, Paid vacation and medical time, Incentive Plan, 401K. Must be 18 years old, have a valid drivers license, and able to pass a drug screen and background check.
