We are looking for a friendly and energetic Host to welcome guests and create a warm, inviting atmosphere. As the first point of contact, you’ll be responsible for greeting visitors, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating operations. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly first impression.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Escort guests to their tables while providing menus and answering initial questions about the restaurant or services.
- Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of guests.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and reservation assistance.
- Maintain cleanliness of the host stand area and ensure all guest interactions are courteous and welcoming.
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus.
- Experience in food service, guest services, or hotel environments is beneficial.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and hospitality standards.
