Inside Sales Representative (m/f/d) – Spare Parts & Industrial Equipment Modifications
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage incoming customer requests, including parts clarification and routing inquiries to the appropriate internal personnel
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner via email, phone, and other communication channels
- Coordinate with the parts warehouse and headquarters regarding internal purchase orders, deliveries, and special requests
- Efficiently process quotes, sales orders, returns, and warranty cases within the ERP system
- Request and evaluate proposals from third-party vendors as required
- Proactively communicate order status updates, including delays or changes that may affect requested or promised delivery dates
- Collaborate closely with internal departments such as purchasing, logistics, accounting, sales, and service to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to orders, customer communications, and transactions
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree in a technical field preferred) or
- Experience in an equivalent position in technical sales or purchasing
- Good technical understanding is a must
- Ability for detail-oriented work
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with Sage or Business Central business software preferred
