Who knows where our shared journey will take you?Transform the everyday with usWe are looking for Mechanical Assemblers for Pomona, CA2nd shift hours: 4:00pm - 12:30 Midnight, 3 months of training on 1st shiftPay $19.22Position Overview:Assembling and/or modifying electromechanical equipment (e.g. Switchboards, Lighting Panels, etc.) with use of mechanical tools and blueprints.Processes work orders (with the use of computers, scanning devices, etc.) in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders.Scans in and out of work orders (with the use of computers, scanning devices, etc.) in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders.Reads and interprets documents associated with the completion of mechanical assembly assignments (e.g. blue prints, bill of materials, one line diagrams, etc.).Fastens component parts on cubicles or frames, subassemblies, or unit assemblies.Cleans and maintains equipment and work area to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical /measuring toolsAbility to speak, read, write and understand EnglishAbility to stand to perform job dutiesAbility to reach, grasp and lift up to 50lbs, push/pull and slide heavy materialAbility to stoop, bend, squat, crawl and climbMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be thorough and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Must be willing to learn all equipment operated in the facility, and follow established processesLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience with reading Blue PrintsPrevious experience with Large Industrial MachinesYou should be proficient in:Mechanical Assembly SkillsBlueprint Reading
