Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You lead the PLM R&D department within a global agile Molecular Imaging product development process in the (pre-) development and design of Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) multimodality systems in combination with Computed Tomography (CT) or Magnetic Resonance (MR). The responsibility includes the entire design cycle from concepts to production transfer, innovation, and product life cycle support all the way through end of support.
- You ensure that all product development activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards)
- You cultivate and build a high-performing R&D team, attracting and retaining top talent in PET, SPECT, and multi-modality imaging technology in applications, software, and hardware
- You foster a culture of collaboration with international cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and procurement to ensure seamless product integration and market success
- You encourage knowledge sharing and technical exchange within the R&D teams across the global organization
- You collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and academic institutions to drive innovation and maintain Siemens Healthineers' leadership in the MI market
- You lead MI’s clinical collaboration team providing deep insides into clinical nuclear medicine research, workflows, and decision making, and enabling clinical product validation
- You actively engage into customer meetings providing domain expertise and supporting marketing and sales

Your qualifications and experience:
- You hold a PhD or Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- You are ideally specialized in PET or SPECT technology, PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and PET/M applications, research, nuclear medicine, and radiology or other related technologies in the field of diagnostic imaging.
- You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in R&D and Innovation management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role specializing in multi-modality molecular imaging
- You possess a proven track record of managing the complete product lifecycle in a regulated industry, preferably in medical devices
- You are familiar with product development methodologies and regulatory compliance

The base pay range for this position is:
Min $280,000 - Max $420,000Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
