A Snapshot of Your Day

As part of a wider HR transformation program and the spin-off of Siemens Energy from Siemens, the payroll operating model moving forward will be fully comprehensive, split between a professional HR BPO for zero to gross processing and managed payroll (gross to net) with industry leading payroll providers. We are looking for a Regional Payroll Transformation Specialist to play a key role supporting the HR/Payroll service delivery in the region, working alongside a global and diverse team of senior payroll leaders ensuring and maintaining fit-for-purpose processes, governing end-to-end delivery in a timely and accurate manner.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Play a key role in the payroll transformation initiative in the region and work alongside the Regional Payroll Lead, with service managing the external partners and payroll providers engaged in this transformation and Payroll Operations.
  • Support the regional payroll process and acts as the first responder in any payroll related inquires and discrepancies.
  • Work closely and support in the service management of the business process outsourcing service provider, ensuring quality operations, while playing a key role on deficiency resolution and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with other HR Business Process initiatives, supplying regional or topic expertise and aspects when needed.
  • Maintain the communication with local and regional stakeholders and partners (such as local HR, HR Services, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, etc.) to ensure alignment with the global payroll standards and policies.


What You Bring

  • 5 years’ experience in Payroll Operations in United States including Puerto Rico.
  • Degree in HR or a combination of HR/Payroll desirable. CPP or FPP is a plus.
  • Track record in supporting the delivery of change / improvement payroll projects.
  • Experience in supporting the management / service management of an eco-system of partners / vendors in Payroll Services
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Analytical skills and fact-based decision ability
  • Self-directed with an ability to coordinate, plan, prioritize.
  • Collaborative style, happy to interact with many stakeholders e.g., in HR Centers of Competence and HR in the Regions, IT department, Finance department, management,
  • Self-motivated to drive initiatives through to completion as an individual contributor and through others.
  • Ability to thrive in a global environment, working flexibly where required.

In this role you will be working within the Human Resources function – People Systems and Services, a truly global and diverse team of specialists with an open mindset, responsible for ensuring Siemens Energy payroll is compliant, accurate, timely and fit-for-purpose, with a clear governance & risk management approach, managing our Payroll vendors and working closely with our HR Services team to safeguard end-to-end delivery while promoting Siemens Energy digital transformation. You will get all the trust and empowerment to be successful.
