How You’ll Make An Impact
- Process purchase requisitions and create purchase orders for materials and services from major vendors.
- Monitor and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery, resolving shipment, quality, and invoicing issues while maintaining accurate procurement data in SAP.
- Manage and close Purchase Orders, including invoice resolution, and act as the primary contact for operational interactions with key suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance against KPIs (delivery, quality, cost) and collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide feedback on vendor capabilities.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, operational cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process optimization, supporting the evaluation of buying strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and procurement regulations in all activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent Experience will be considered in lieu of Degree.
- 5 years of experience in an operational procurement, buyer, or vendor management role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Demonstrated experience working with ERP systems (SAP is highly preferred).
