In this role, you'll manage a backlog of parts orders that require engineering review. You'll evaluate necessary updates and changes to legacy designs to ensure parts can be manufactured or purchased in the current environment.
How You’ll Make An Impact (responsibilities)
- Conduct technical reviews of parts for quotes and orders to improve the quote-to-order ratio.
- Monitor and process tasks and non-conformances promptly to keep the quote and order process on track.
- Perform engineering analysis and make effective decisions within approved guidelines and established product standards.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and experience with ERP software (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
- Strong technical knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational, time management, communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently with enthusiasm and intensity.
- Self-motivation to find efficient and effective ways to achieve end goals, and ability to multitask under time constraints.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
