How You’ll Make an Impact
- Perform comprehensive electrical tests on complete generators, including stators, rotors, and excitation equipment, according to specifications.
- Monitor, interpret, and document test results using computer systems to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot non-conformities or failures during the testing process.
- Maintain accurate daily production and testing records for performance analysis.
- Set up and prepare testing apparatus and the balance facility for rotor and exciter balancing procedures.
- Support and execute heavy crane moves to safely transport and position large generator components.
- Successful completion of internal Electrical Tester examination
- Associate’s degree or vocational certificate in Electrical Technology or a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical work or testing.
- Knowledge of safety standards, strong data entry skills, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, and quality control experience.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
