How You’ll Make An Impact
- Develop and lead strategic sourcing activities from proposal phase to contract signature, ensuring optimal supplier selection.
- Perform total cost of ownership analysis to build business cases, then lead price and contract negotiations to secure top-performing suppliers.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers, drive cost reductions, resolve commercial issues, and maintain high-performance partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create and execute commodity strategies aligned with business goals and market trends.
- Independently lead complex procurement projects and communicate objectives and results effectively to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a comparable field – master’s degree is a plus.
- 8 years’ experience in procurement, supplier management, or strategic sourcing within an advanced manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex contracts, including drafting and compliance oversight.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and market analysis skills with a track record in cost optimization.
- Willing to travel 30% domestically and internationally.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
