How You’ll Make An Impact
- You will manage the customer interface within your district, addressing non-conformance costs and identifying risks and opportunities.
- Support the performance of on-site technical projects, ensuring the successful design, development, installation, and maintenance of complex systems.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to create detailed maintenance plans that enhance operational efficiency.
- Build and monitor purchase orders for vendors, ensuring accurate tracking of project costs and timely job closeouts.
- Provide daily support to the platform team, addressing emergent customer requests and fostering continuous improvement in Siemens Energy products and services.
- You have experience in the general maintenance of large gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and associated equipment, with a preference for technical expertise in gas turbine maintenance and operation.
- A BS/BA in a business-related field or engineering, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- You possess experience working with both union and non-union labor.
- Proficiency in Primavera and/or Microsoft Project scheduling software, SAP, and Excel is essential, along with experience in developing and managing financial budgets.
- You are legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization, and you are located in the Kansas City District Office.
