Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Technical Leadership
- Build strong, long‑term relationships with customer technical leaders and management across multiple levels.
- Act as the primary technical advisor for strategic accounts, guiding customers on best practices and solution adoption.
- Lead deep technical discovery to understand customer design flows, business objectives, and competitive challenges.
- Lead complex, high‑impact technical sales campaigns and evaluations with regional or portfolio‑level impact.
- Deliver compelling technical presentations demonstrating the value of Siemens EDA solutions, including multi‑platform workflows.
- Architect and drive pilot projects and proof‑of‑value engagements that lead to successful customer adoption.
- Translate technical value into clear business impact in partnership with Account Managers.
- Partner closely with Sales, Account Technology Managers, and Technical Account Managers to align on strategy and execution.
- Contribute to regional and portfolio growth strategies through customer insight, competitive intelligence, and technology trends.
- Collaborate with Product, R&D, Support, and Services teams to address customer needs and influence solution improvements.
- Advise on optimal license configurations, product mix, and deployment approach.
- Guide customers through deployment, integration, and optimization of Siemens EDA solutions to ensure long‑term success.
- Support customers during critical issues and ensure effective engagement with Support teams as needed.
- Mentor and coach Field Application Engineers, promoting technical excellence and consistent delivery standards.
- Lead or contribute to operational improvements that enhance team effectiveness and scalability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 8 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor or electronic design flows and methodologies; advanced experience with EDA tools and the ability to integrate and optimize solutions within customer environments.
- Experience scripting or automating workflows using APIs, configuration tools, or custom scripts.
- Demonstrated ability to position and communicate the value of multi‑tool, multi‑platform solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
- Proven success collaborating across sales, product, and technical teams in a customer‑facing role.
- Experience leading large‑scale evaluations or enterprise‑level customer deployments.
- Strong knowledge of competitive EDA technologies and industry trends.
- Prior mentoring or technical leadership experience within a field or customer‑facing team.
