Position Overview:
The Senior Software Engineer will lead cloud infrastructure automation, environment maintenance, CI/CD pipeline delivery, and AI-assisted development initiatives. This role requires the ability to understand complex systems and problems, create and document software designs, and coordinate wide-reaching technical implementations. Acts as a Technical Lead on major projects, consulting frequently with customers regarding future upgrades and products, and influencing the technical direction of the team. Works without supervision on highly complex projects with complete latitude for independent judgment and technical expertise.

Position Overview:

This role requires the ability to understand complex systems and problems, create and document software designs, and coordinate wide-reaching technical implementations. Acts as a Technical Lead on major projects, consulting frequently with customers regarding future upgrades and products, and influencing the technical direction of the team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Automation using Ansible, Terraform.
- Maintain and optimize AWS and Azure Kubernetes cloud environments for performance, cost, and reliability.
- Design and manage CD Pipeline creation and deployments using GitLab and other CI/CD toolkits.
- Perform Database configuration and tuning across Oracle, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL platforms.
- Drive AI-assisted development practices using tools such as Claude Code.
- Implement instrumentation and observability solutions to monitor system health and performance.
- Gather requirements from users and incorporate enhancements into tools when practical.
- Ensure appropriate code reviews and unit tests are performed.
- Communicate and consult with other developers and customers.
- Manage assigned projects including defining scope, plans, schedules, and deliverables.
- Maintain technical expertise by following technical advances in the industry and academia.
- Proactively communicate status of all projects, tools, and environments.
- Develop new ideas and document all processes and procedures.
- Provide problem resolution and technical leadership for the group.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers in best practices and technical standards.
