You'll make a difference by:
- Distributed Microservices Design: Designing and implementing microservice roles, responsibilities, and interactions within NavOps, ensuring scalability and resilience.
- Technology Watch: Staying ahead of microservice patterns, including event-driven architectures, and implementing best practices.
- Documentation-As-Code: Defining and implementing a developer-friendly software documentation strategy, leveraging automation and best practices.
- Testing Advocate: Designing and implementing robust unit, contract, integration and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Lead User Stories: Defining and prioritizing development tasks, ensuring seamless alignment with business and technical goals.
- Contribute to NavOps Development: Playing a critical role in advancing core libraries and features within the NavOps platform.
- Document Architecture: Maintaining and evolving technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for developers.
- Monitor and Maintain CI: Overseeing continuous integration pipelines to enhance software quality and development efficiency.
- Strong proficiency in Go (Python is a plus), with hands-on experience in microservices development.
- Proven expertise with Linux-based operating systems, including command-line usage and shell scripting.
- Expertise in using and developing container-based applications (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Expertise in event-driven architectures and cloud-native development.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong documentation skills, with experience in "Documentation-As-Code" practices.
- High Performance Computing (HPC) knowledge/experience is desirable
