Senior Electrical Engineer, Team Lead

Position Location: This role is hybrid remote/in-office and supports our Buffalo Grove, IL branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater Chicago, IL area. The successful candidate will be leading a team of electrical engineers, providing work direction and mentorship, in addition to electrical engineering development work. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, Team Lead, you will: - Lead and mentor team members in all aspects of the electrical product development processes. - Complete the product development process from concepts to final production release in our on-site factory - Align resources against varied tasks; new product development, customer support, procurement support, factory support. - Provide day-to-day work direction and technical support as needed You will make an impact with these qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience - 5+ years of electrical hardware development experience - 2+ years of people management experience - Familiarity with commercial HVAC control components; controllers, actuators, sensors - Proven track record of managing development teams - Ability to use personal computers and software tools, working knowledge of PCB development tool sets, business software, PLM and ERP toolsets - 5% travel may be required - Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: - BSEE - Working knowledge of Siemens AG Xpedition PCB development tool set - Working knowledge of Siemens AG TeamCenter, SAP and IBM Jazz - Experience in EMC testing, prototype build and test, and other hands-on environments Ready to create your own journey? Join us today! The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
