Field Application Engineer - Tessent Design for Test (DFT)

The primary purpose is working with sales and the field technical team members to help lead, define, and implement the technical engagements that support sales campaigns. Key Responsibilities: ΓÇó Drive products into customer projects through adoption by creating methodology and flows; this may include infrastructure and integration into a customerΓÇÖs environment and the identification of pilot projects for tool use and the debugging and bring-up of new methodologies and flows ΓÇó Develop close relationships with customers through as many levels as possible, to be able to assess their technical and business requirements. Identify the options/ability for Siemens AG flows/solutions to develop and implement technical sales plans ΓÇó Uncover or qualify new opportunities, the technical viability of a lead and strategize the opportunity clearly with the sales team ΓÇó To share, in a proactive manner, account, evaluation, competitor, technology and other useful information with peers, sales teams, management and product divisions to help us to compete more effectively ΓÇó Provide technical leadership for assigned accounts ΓÇó Other reasonable actions not named, which are required by management or leadership Job Qualifications: ΓÇó BSEE or BSCS required; MSEE desired ΓÇó 8 to 12 years of experience as an Applications Engineer, ASIC Design Engineer or related field ΓÇó Digital design experience and RTL coding with Verilog or VHDL or both ΓÇó Proven track record of Design for Test for ASIC design ΓÇó Demonstrated knowledge of TCL language and programming concepts ΓÇó Command of Microsoft Office products ΓÇó Ideal candidate has experience with Siemens AG Tessent DFT products ΓÇó Simulation and verification expertise ΓÇó Project management experience ΓÇó Normal office environment ΓÇó Experience with diagnosis driven yield analysis also desired ΓÇó Great communication written and verbal; influencing, teamwork, and diplomacy skills ΓÇó Demonstrable drive and commitment ΓÇó Adaptability, dedication, persistence, and assertiveness ΓÇó Marketing-related knowledge ΓÇó Understands basic sales tactics ΓÇó Familiarity with business and financial terminology ΓÇó High energy, effective presentation skills ΓÇó Has a Global perspective ΓÇó Able to communicate at all levels management both internally and at the customer ΓÇó Problem solving skills ΓÇó Self-starter that can work independently of the team ΓÇó Can apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
