About the Role:
The Mixing Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the mixing operations within a manufacturing facility, ensuring that all production processes meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This position is responsible for managing a team of operators and technicians to maintain consistent product formulation and output. The Mixing Supervisor will coordinate daily production schedules, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize mixing processes. They will also ensure compliance with all regulatory and company safety protocols, fostering a safe and productive work environment. Ultimately, the role aims to deliver high-quality mixed products on time while minimizing waste and downtime.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong understanding of mixing processes and equipment used in non-durable goods manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards applicable to manufacturing operations.
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules, batch records, and standard operating procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Management, or related discipline.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with computerized production management systems and data analysis tools.
- Previous experience in non-durable goods manufacturing, particularly in mixing or formulation roles.
- Certification in workplace safety or supervisory training programs.
Responsibilities:
