As a Structural Project Engineer at Siegfried, you will lead the design and production of structural construction documents for a wide variety of projects in both the public and private sectors. These include commercial, industrial, and public infrastructure buildings. You will manage projects, collaborate across disciplines, and ensure compliance with the California Building Code, all while mentoring junior staff and supporting client relationships and business development.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the production of structural construction documents for public and private sector projects
- Perform structural design of commercial, industrial, and civic buildings
- Conduct structural condition assessments and prepare technical evaluations
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communication
- Participate in business development, including scoping and bidding new work
- Mentor and support the development of junior engineering staff
- Coordinate across internal teams and external consultants to ensure project success
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- California Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- California Structural Engineer (SE) license in progress preferred
- 4 years of experience in structural engineering
- Experience designing buildings to California Building Code standards
- Proficiency in RISA-3D, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with REVIT, DSA, OSHPD, or bridge design is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage clients and internal teams
- Lead high-impact structural engineering projects across Northern California

Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
