Construction Litigation Attorney
Siegfried Rivera is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney to join our growing Construction Litigation practice at the Senior Associate level. We are interested in attorneys with substantial experience handling complex construction litigation matters who are looking for an opportunity to play a meaningful role within a strong and collaborative team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a sophisticated and well-established construction practice and work closely with firm leadership and clients on significant matters. All submissions will be handled with the strictest confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
· Review, analyze, and evaluate litigation matters effectively.
· Draft, review, and edit pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
· Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials in state and federal courts.
· Manage cases from inception through resolution while meeting client expectations.
· Build and maintain strong client relationships.
· Meet annual billable hour requirements and accurately record time.
· Collaborate with attorneys and staff to develop case strategies and achieve successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
· J.D. from an accredited law school.
· Admission to the Florida Bar.
· 5–7 years of litigation experience, preferably in construction litigation.
· State and federal trial experience required.
· Demonstrated ability to manage litigation matters from inception through trial.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
· Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Strong academic credentials.
Preferred Experience: Westlaw, LexisNexis, NetDocs, Curo365, I-Conect, Florida Courts E-Filing Portal and PACER
