We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and execution of advanced Mechanical systems for our hoisting equipment.
Education: BSME or similar technical degree
Typical Job Activities:
- Office-based position for design of custom mining equipment
- Create mechanical and hydraulic solutions to meet unique customer needs
- Design parts and assemblies to fit new or existing equipment
- Complete 3D models and produce drawing packages for various mechanical and hydraulic parts and assemblies per company standards
- Review and edit drawings
- Maintain complete product documentation for various document types throughout a project’s lifecycle
- Work with vendors to quote, manufacture and deliver items to meet quality and lead time requirements
- Inspect items at vendor locations for acceptance testing & validation
- Create and edit technical reports
- Provide engineering support on site as needed
- Maintain positive, results-driven working relationships with co-workers, vendors and customers in-person and via virtual meeting/phone/email

Desired Program Skills:
- High proficiency with SolidWorks CAD software (modelling and drawings) required (EPDM, Simulation, Electrical, …)
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
Other:
- Willingness to travel is critical (up to 30% of time)
- Experience with construction/mining heavy machinery via internship or previous employment is a benefit
- Hydraulic circuit design, build or testing background via internship/employment is a benefit
- Foreign language skills a plus (Spanish, German, French)
