Sidwell Friends, a co-educational, PK-12 Quaker day school, seeks applicants with a passion for coaching for a part-time Boys Assistant Varsity Soccer Coach and Boys Assistant 7/8 Soccer Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The coach hired in this role will be expected to fulfill both roles. The school has outstanding athletics facilities including natural grass soccer field, an all-weather track, four full size gyms, a fitness center, two artificial turf fields, a large dance studio and six tennis courts.
Coaching Responsibilities Involve
Candidates must have a passion for coaching and developing young players, a minimum of 1 year of coaching experience at the middle school, high school, college and/or in a strong club soccer setting. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Coaching Responsibilities Involve
- assisting the head coach with the management of both teams in practices and on game days
- being an active part of the tryout process and team selection
- helping with the planning, organization, and execution of practice sessions all season (early September to early November)
- Providing constructive feedback and guidance to student athletes during practices and games
- Driving the student athletes to away contests
- helping the head coach with any other responsibilities

Compensation
- Stipend $2,675.00-$3,852.00. Stipend will be commensurate with experience and qualifications
