Position Overview
We re seeking a Business/Systems Analyst to join the Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE). This role ensures that business requirements are accurately translated into clear, testable specifications while supporting development, QA, and UAT teams throughout the SDLC.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Analysis
- Lead requirement-gathering (workshops, interviews, cross-functional sessions).
- Create BRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Perform detailed requirement analysis, decomposition (epics features stories), and gap assessments.
- Collaborate on impact analysis, risk identification, and testing scope.
- Apply design thinking to refine stakeholder-centric solutions.
Testing & TCoE Support
- Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability.
- Support test planning, execution, and defect triage.
- Enhance QA maturity, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Enable metrics-driven testing through dashboards and KPIs.
Project & Stakeholder Engagement
- Assist with release planning, UAT support, and go-live readiness.
- Clarify requirements during functional/UAT testing phases.
- Translate business needs into testable, reliable system requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s in CS, IS, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 5 years as a Business or Systems Analyst in enterprise environments.
- Utility/Energy experience with one or more:
- Outage Management System (OMS)
- Oracle Utilities Analytics (OUA)
- GIS
- AMI
- CC&B
- Work Management Systems (e.g., IBM Maximo)
- Strong skills in requirements elicitation, documentation, and process mapping.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Certifications: CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA
- Tools: Azure DevOps, Jira, ALM; SQL experience
- Exposure to AI-powered testing or Generative AI for requirements/test design
- TCoE or Quality Engineering environment experience
- Agile & Waterfall methodology experience
- Regulatory knowledge: NERC, PSC, FERC
