Stall Cleaner

Position Overview:
The Sidney Peak Ranch Equestrian Center is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stall Cleaner to support daily barn operations. This role focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable stalls for horses and requires consistency, care, and pride in doing the job well. Shifts are short and predictable, making this an ideal position for someone looking for part-time, physical work in a calm, horse-centered setting. The Sidney Peak Ranch Equestrian Center is a professionally managed boarding facility committed to high standards of horse care, thoughtful operations, and a supportive barn culture. Nestled in a mountain setting, the ranch prioritizes horse welfare, safety, and long-term sustainability for both horses and their people.

Schedule:

• 2–3 hours per day (schedule is typically 8:30/9:00a-10:30/11:00a)
• 3–7 days per week (schedule to be determined based on availability and barn needs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Muck stalls thoroughly and efficiently
• Re-bed stalls as needed to maintain cleanliness and horse comfort
• Empty manure into designated disposal areas
• Sweep and tidy barn aisles and stall fronts
• Monitor stalls for cleanliness, safety issues, or unusual conditions and report concerns to management

Qualifications:

• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Able to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and working on your feet
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor barn setting
• Exposure to dust, hay, weather, horses, and dogs
• Calm, respectful, and team-oriented workplace

Compensation:

• Hourly pay, commensurate with experience

This role is essential to horse health and barn operations and is well-suited for someone who values consistency, efficiency, and working around horses.
