These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend. Responsibilities for a RRT:
- Perform quality respiratory treatments and testing on all age groups
- Assist with patient and family education regarding respiratory diseases and medications
- Help develop plans for successful patient discharges
- Operate and maintain knowledge of various respiratory equipment
- Utilize excellent communication skills and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Work with all age groups, including newborns
- Perform various testing procedures such as EKGs and 6-Minute Walk Tests (6 MWT)
- Maintain current BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications
- Maintain valid State of Montana licensure as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation
