Member & Guest Service
- Greet members promptly and professionally.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Deliver orders in a timely manner and ensure member satisfaction.
- Maintain awareness of member preferences and provide personalized service when appropriate.
- Address minor concerns independently and communicate larger issues to the department manager before escalating to the GM.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages according to SCC standards.
- Follow all state and club policies regarding responsible alcohol service.
- Monitor guest consumption and notify management of concerns.
- Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and proper stock rotation.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely food delivery.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients.
- Ensure proper presentation and quality before serving.
- Keep bar, tables, and service areas clean, organized, and presentable.
- Follow opening, closing, and shift change procedures consistently.
- Maintain accurate POS transactions and cash handling.
- Support tournaments, events, and beverage cart operations as assigned.
- Bar restocked during closing and replenished as needed during service.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance consistent with SCC standards.
- Arrive on time and ready to work.
- Communicate clearly with members, coworkers, and management.
- Work efficiently during high volume periods while maintaining service quality.
- Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
- Uphold SCC's service culture and represent the club professionally at all times.
- Prior bartending or serving experience preferred but not required.
- Must be 18 and eligible to serve alcohol under Montana law.
- Must have or be able to obtain a ServSafe (or equivalent) alcohol service certification.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic POS or cash handling experience preferred.
- Seasonal, part time, or full time depending on club needs.
- Morning, evening, weekend, and tournament/event shifts required.
- Hourly wage plus tips, consistent with SCC compensation policies.
- Reports to: Department Manager (Food & Beverage)
- Escalation path: Department Manager ¿ General Manager
- Works closely with: Kitchen staff, Pro Shop staff, and Event Coordinator
- Evaluated on: service quality, member feedback, accuracy, cleanliness, and reliability
