Position Overview: We are seeking a top-tier Project Manager to oversee large-scale industrial projects throughout Louisiana. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and extensive experience managing complex, multi-million dollar industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of large-scale industrial projects from initiation to completion
- Coordinate multiple work crews (50-200 workers) across various disciplines
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Interface with client representatives, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Conduct regular progress meetings and provide detailed project reporting
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Coordinate logistics, equipment, and material procurement
- Oversee project documentation and change management processes
Required Qualifications:
- H2S certification (H2S Clear )
- First Aid certification
- TWIC card
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 10 years project management experience in industrial settings
- Minimum 5 years managing projects valued at $10M
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
- Experience with budget management and cost control
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in relevant field
- Previous experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industry
- Experience managing turnaround/shutdown projects
- Six Sigma or Lean certification
- Experience with Louisiana regulatory requirements
