What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barback position at Sidecar Patio & Oyster Bar?
We are looking for a part-time barback to join our team at Sidecar and The Rusty Nail! Weekend morning availability is required.
Barbacks are responsible for stocking, bussing, prepping, polishing glassware, changing kegs, keeping eyes on the entire campus, and assisting the bartenders in any way that may be necessary. Barbacks will also get some bartending experience so they can help the bartenders on busy shifts as needed. It is the barback's responsibility to make sure the bartenders always have what they need and the campus is always kept tidy. The ability to lift 50 pounds over your head is required. You will also need an active responsible vendors permit.
