Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monthly financial statement preparation and analysis
- Monthly reconciliation of all asset accounts
- Cash management
- Review retail business transactions daily for accuracy
- Report sales to the owner daily
- Calculate commissions for sales team members. Manage goals of each sales person and the company as a whole
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
- Manage periodic physical inventory
- Prepare Payroll
- Manage all employee benefits: Health Insurance, 401k Plan, Paid time off
- Prepare and file monthly sales tax reports
- Resolve IT issues and manage outside IT consultants
- Prepare tax return information for outside CPAs
Qualifications:
- Accounting or Finance Degree. CPA not required, but a plus!
- Minimum 3-5 years experience
- Mastery of Excel, Word, Outlook
- Experience in QuickBooks
- Excellent Attendance and Dependability
- Flexibility to help other departments when necessary
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well-dressed, clean appearance
