Role Description The Counter Sales role at Sid Harvey Industries is a full-time, on-site position based in Edison, NJ. This role focuses on assisting walk-in and call-in customers at the sales counter, providing product information, processing orders, and handling returns in a timely and accurate manner. Daily responsibilities include identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate products and solutions, preparing quotes, and completing sales transactions using the company’s point-of-sale systems. The Counter Sales team member helps maintain an organized, well-stocked counter and showroom area, supports inventory checks, and coordinates with warehouse and delivery staff to ensure customer orders are fulfilled. This position may also involve learning product lines, supporting basic customer training on equipment or supplies, and contributing to a positive, service-oriented branch environment.
