Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of baked goods, pastries, and desserts with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
• Decorate cakes and confections using various techniques to create visually stunning treats that meet customer specifications
• Handle food packaging efficiently to maintain freshness and presentation quality for takeout or display
• Assist with food production tasks such as mixing, baking, assembling, and finishing products according to established recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety regulations and hygiene practices
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, understanding their preferences, and offering product recommendations
• Support catering events or special orders by preparing large quantities of baked goods while managing time effectively

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts within a food industry setting
• Strong skills in food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen operations
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques including knife skills, cooking methods, and food presentation
• Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
• Culinary experience with a focus on baking, pastry arts, or food production is preferred
