Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process customer purchases and returns
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, assisting with product demos, and guiding shoppers through their selections
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Maintain organized merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
- Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries
Experience
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills essential for accurate cash handling
- Supervising experience is a plus, especially in managing team members or overseeing daily operations
