Role Description This full-time, on-site Warehouse Manager role is based in Palmetto, FL. The Warehouse Manager oversees daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping fresh produce and related products. This role coordinates workflows, assigns tasks, and monitors productivity to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately, safely, and on time. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supervising forklift and equipment use, and enforcing safety, quality, and cleanliness standards. This position also collaborates with production, logistics, and quality teams to resolve issues, support continuous improvement, and meet customer service expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong stock control and inventory control skills to maintain accurate counts and reduce shrinkage.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and processes to track product movement and reconcile variances.
- Experience in operations management, including staff scheduling, workflow planning, and performance monitoring.
- Hands-on knowledge of forklift operation and other warehouse equipment, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
- Previous experience in warehouse or distribution management, ideally in food, agriculture, or a fast-moving goods environment.
- Ability to lead and develop diverse teams, communicate clearly, and foster a respectful, inclusive work environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and time management.
- Comfort with basic computer applications (e.g., WMS, ERP, spreadsheets, email) and data-driven decision-making.
- Understanding of safety, sanitation, and quality standards relevant to warehouse and food-handling operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education in logistics, supply chain, or related fields is a plus.
