Duties
- Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive experience.
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash handling and cash register operation.
- Receive garments for cleaning, tag items properly, and record details for processing.
- Operate garment care machines such as pressing machines and garment finishing equipment to ensure high-quality results.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning work areas, tools, and equipment using appropriate cleaning detergents.
- Assist with laundry services by sorting, washing, drying, and folding garments as needed.
- Support heavy lifting tasks involved in handling bulk laundry or large items safely and efficiently.
Skills
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly valued for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Knowledge of garment finishing, pressing techniques, and dry cleaning processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Familiarity with garment care machine operation including pressing machines and fabric care equipment.
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and workspace maintenance to uphold safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting with proper technique to prevent injury.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash registers.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience with laundry services, fabric care knowledge, and the operation of pressing machines is preferred but not required.
