Sibley Memorial Hospital is a full-service community hospital, Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley’s campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers

General Summary

• Inspects, cleans, assembles and sterilizes surgical instrument sets. Operates cleaning and sterilization equipment in order to clean instruments and supplies. Prepare supplies and equipment for steam sterilization and low temperature sterilization.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year instrument processing experience required
• CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) or Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materials Management.
  
  

Salary Range: Minimum 19.27/hour - Maximum 37.20/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
