Job Summary: The Pharmacy Technician III - Infusion, performs both baseline duties (including those of a Pharmacy Technician II) as well as specialized technician duties as determined by departmental leadership. Able to train new pharmacy technicians. Competent to staff in at least two specialized areas/locations as determined by departmental leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, certificate, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
• Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) required.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the District of Columbia Board of Pharmacy is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in applicable specialized institutional pharmacy areas areas as determined by departmental leadership.
• Sterile Compounding experience is also required.
  
  

Shift: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Rotating Shift; holiday and weekend coverage is also required.

Salary Range: Minimum 24.20/hour - Maximum 39.91/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
