Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, test, debug, and document Workday Compensation solutions.
- Build and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and Core Connectors.
- Develop and maintain Workday reports using Report Writer and Advanced Reporting.
- Translate complex Compensation business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Support compensation cycle and year-end initiatives across US and global environments.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, solution design, testing, upgrades, and deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex technical issues and integration challenges.
- Lead technical initiatives and serve as an escalation point for complex Compensation development issues.
- Collaborate with HR, Compensation, engineering, product teams, and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and direction to less experienced team members.
- 2 years of hands-on Workday Advanced Compensation development experience.
- Strong Workday Compensation functional and technical expertise.
- Hands-on Workday Studio development experience.
- Experience with Workday Integrations, including:
- EIBs
- Core Connectors
- Workday Studio
- Report Writer
- Advanced Reporting
- Ability to design and connect multiple Workday Compensation solutions to solve complex business problems.
- 5 years of Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology or related field.
- Workday/HR systems Compensation experience.
- SQL, SAS, or other data management/reporting tools.
- Workday Extend development.
- Workday Adaptive Planning, Modeling, Sheets, Reports, and Dashboards.
- Adaptive security, permissions, user groups, and access rules.
- HCM-to-Adaptive integrations, user synchronization, and SSO.
- Agile methodology experience.
- Strong leadership and ability to influence within a matrix organization.
