Job Title: RF Engineers and RF/Microwave Engineers
Location: Chelmsford, MA – ONSITE (NEED LOCAL CANDIDATE)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking experienced RF Engineers and RF/Microwave Engineers to support the development and manufacturing of high-reliability, multi-function RF modules. This role offers a mix of hands-on lab work, design, troubleshooting, and production support within advanced aerospace systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Support full product lifecycle: design, development, testing, and production
• Troubleshoot and resolve RF/microwave circuit and system-level issues
• Work on advanced modules including amplifiers, mixers, switches, and frequency circuits
• Perform hands-on testing using RF/microwave lab equipment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, systems, manufacturing)
• Support manufacturing operations by resolving assembly and test issues
• Contribute to simulation, integration, and validation of high-reliability systems
• Lead or assist in failure investigations and technical problem-solving
Required Qualifications (RF Engineer)
• Active Secret Clearance (mandatory)
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM field
• 5 years of relevant RF engineering experience
• Strong hands-on hardware and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with RF/microwave test equipment and simulation tools
• Experience working in production/manufacturing environments
Required Qualifications (RF/Microwave Engineer)
• Active Secret Clearance at submission
• Bachelor’s degree in RF/Microwave Engineering or related field
• 1 year of RF/microwave engineering experience
• Experience in testing, tuning, and troubleshooting microwave circuits
• Familiarity with test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
• Ability to interpret schematics, specifications, and test data
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience in aerospace/defense industry
• Expertise in RF subsystems (antennas, transmitters, receivers, LNAs, HPAs)
• Experience with RF simulation or electromagnetic tools
• Strong documentation and technical presentation skills
• Experience with manufacturing processes and microelectronics assembly
• Ability to collaborate across teams and support production environments
