Job Description:
Position Objective: Move materials to/from supply and customer locations in a safe, timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate trucks in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and company policies
- Perform truck, trailer and container inspections
- Deliver loads to proper locations
- Inspect inbound loads at supplier locations
- Load/Unload a dump trailer
- Inspect outbound loads
- Ensure that trucks are kept clean and maintained at all times
- Complete and maintain driving and haul log sheets on a trip basis, as required
- Must have current Class A CDL
- Minimum of 2 years driving dump trailers, preferred but not required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical/maintenance skills
- Able to work independently
- Good communication skills
