Location:
Stillwater Mine - Nye, MT
Schedule:
Rotating - 5x4x4x5
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair high, medium and low voltage circuits Surface and Underground
- Perform work on A/C and D/C motors and motor control systems
- Install, calibrate and maintain electronic instrumentation
- Maintain PLCs and Distributive Control Systems
- Initial assignment mine electrical maintenance
Qualifications and Skills:
Required
- Must be able to read electrical prints and schematics.
- General computer skills with a working knowledge of data logging, spreadsheet, and control software.
- Must be familiar with PLCs, VFDs, Soft-Start and Basic Operational Control System Circuitry.
- Must meet the Task Matrix Proficiency Levels for Electrician 1 or 2 (See Task Matrix in HR Office).
- Must meet the Physical Requirements for the Electrician position (see Physical Requirements and Working Conditions in the HR Office).
- Understanding of and a strong commitment to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Preferred
- Electrical license.
- Previous construction and/or electrical maintenance experience.
- Previous underground experience.
Education & Experience
- High School Education/GED or equivalent work experience.
