Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a hands on Department Supervisor to lead safe, efficient, and compliant operations within our Chemical Processing – Wet Chemistry Lab. This day shift role provides frontline leadership, drives production and lab performance, and supports continuous improvement in a fast paced chemical processing environment.

What You Will Do

• Lead day to day Wet Chemistry Lab operations to meet safety, quality, cost, and production targets
• Supervise, coach, and develop technicians and frontline team members
• Coordinate workflows, batching, and lab activities to maximize efficiency and throughput
• Monitor KPIs, analyze process performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure safe handling of chemicals and compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Collaborate cross functionally with Operations, QEHS, and Maintenance teams
• Maintain accurate documentation, batch records, and process data
  
  

What You Bring

• Two or more years of supervisory experience in chemical processing, laboratory, or industrial environments
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with wet chemistry processes, chemical handling, or lab operations preferred
• Lean or continuous improvement experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel; data analytics experience is a plus
