Job Summary
Provide a combination of classroom-based and on-line instruction to at-promise high school students with mild/moderate disabilities including students with learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities and emotional disturbances in one or more assigned areas. Collaborate with staff to provide an optimal learning environment for at-promise students; evaluate student progress and communicate progress to students; implement teacher standards.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required, Masters’ Degree preferred Previous successful teaching experience in an alternative school setting is desired Experience and passion for working with at-promise student population preferred Appropriate valid and current California Education Specialist Credential English Learner Authorization/CLAD Certificate or Bilingual Authorization/BLCAD or Certificate of Completion of Staff Development (CCSD) or equivalent required Why SIATech?
