BOOKKEEPER – CARBONDALE, IL – New Full Time Position For In House Bookkeeper, to Conduct and Oversee, Auditing, and Misc. Accounting Duties for Privately Held Company.
Applicants Should be Able to:
> Compile and Audit Daily Financial Activity
> Audit & Reconcile Accounts, Including Bank Statements
> Prepare Financial Statements, Including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and P & L Statements
> Manage and Process Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
> Maintain General Ledgers For Various Entities
> Process Payroll & Payroll Taxes
> Prepare Sales Tax Reports
> Assist With Tax Preparation
Additionally, Applicants Should Possess the Following Qualifications:
>* MINIMUM 2 YEARS BOOKKEEPING/ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE*
> Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills
> Expertise in Excel, with Ability to Create & Utilize Spreadsheets
> Strong Time Management and Organizational Skills
> Commitment to Detail With a High Degree of Accuracy
> Self-Motivated With Ability to Multi Task Proficiently
> Able to Work Autonomously with Minimal Supervision, or with a Team
> Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
> Experience & Understanding of QuickBooks
Though Not Required, An Associates in Accounting is Preferred, in Addition to the Required Level of Experience
