Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for field operations positions, with a primary focus on hiring HVAC, plumbing, and service technicians. This role will be responsible for generating a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates and successfully filling approximately 4–6 technician positions per month while supporting the company's continued growth. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Recruiter will partner closely with operational leaders, hiring managers, and executive leadership to develop recruiting strategies, improve hiring processes, and ensure the company attracts top talent in competitive labor markets.
Key Responsibilities – Senior Recruiter
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for field service positions, including HVAC technicians, plumbers, service technicians, installers, apprentices, and related operational roles.
- Consistently recruit and onboard 4–6 technicians per month across multiple business units and service locations.
- Develop and maintain active candidate pipelines through job boards, social media, referrals, trade schools, workforce development programs, and industry networking.
- Conduct candidate sourcing, screening interviews, reference checks, and interview coordination. Insure that candidates are qualified for the interviewed position before forwarding them on to a Hiring Manager.
- Partner with operational managers to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities.
- Create and post compelling job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms. Include all forms of digital advertising.
- Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, candidate pipeline activity, offer acceptance rates, and hiring costs. Report those KPIs on a weekly basis.
- Build relationships with technical schools, trade programs, military transition organizations, and community workforce groups.
- Support employer branding initiatives to strengthen our reputation as an employer of choice.
- Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in skilled trades, construction, residential services, manufacturing, or field service environments
- Strong sourcing capabilities using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and proactive recruiting techniques.
- Experience managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting within HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or residential services industries.
- Experience supporting recruiting initiatives for multi-location organizations.
- Familiarity with private equity-backed or high-growth companies.
- Knowledge of recruiting metrics and workforce planning strategies.
