How You Will Make An Impact
R&D - New Product Development, Product Management Support, Customer Support
- Interfaces with the right stakeholders to translate required structure - property relationships into defined chemistries.
- Work closely with R&D App Director to maintain product portfolio and map out new technologies for fuel, lubes, oilfield and coatings application
- Responsible for the development and sustaining products in Oilfield, Fuel and Lubes and Coatings product lines
- Support alkoxylation of phenol-formaldehyde resin for Oilfield application
- Support customer interaction for Fuel, Lubes, and Oilfield application
- Uses strong interpersonal skills to interact and relate effectively; able and willing to share and receive information.
- Uses deductive reasoning skills; translates a complex set of ideas, issues and observations into a clear and useful explanation; leverages it into product development projects.

- Keep up to date on technology trends which are aligned with SI Group market segment strategies.
- Adhere to company EH&S regulations, SI Group Responsible Care practices and ISO 9000 programs
- Ensure all R&D operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures and are in compliance with relative laws and regulations.
- PhD (preferably Organic Chemistry) with at least one year of relevant industry experience.
