Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
- Conduct routine floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve flooring quality
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks including trash removal, dusting, and sanitation of high-touch areas
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs needed for equipment or infrastructure
- Assist with custodial duties related to residential painting or minor touch-ups when required
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or industrial settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and use of cleaning machinery such as buffers and scrubbers
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and basic repair procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
