Job Description
Marine Travelift is excited to be adding a full time Data Entry Specialist to our growing Purchasing Department. Your primary focus is on important administrative support responsibilities managing a wide variety of data with heavy data entry and the use of databases and other resources.
Job Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary administrative support person for the supply chain department while learning supply chain operations
- Enter hard copy data electronically, accurately and in a timely manner
- This role ensures all assigned products are properly quoted, ordered, delivered and available for shipment
- Enter accurate data within internal operating systems for reporting purposes
- Process purchase orders, product quotes, and internal information requests
- Works with a variety of data sources related to supply chain operations
- All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned
- Strong keyboard and data entry skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills is a must
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel is required
