- Familiar with company philosophy, procedures, and practices
- Strong familiarity with manufacturing environment and equipment
- Possess good verbal and written skills
- Ability to identify, scope, propose, and implement capital improvement projects as assigned
- Capable of performing low-to-high-voltage electrical work, balancing loads, laying out and wiring complex circuits with large quantities of connections, troubleshooting and correcting faulty logic and control circuits, as well as carrying out electrical installations, repairs, and tests on all plant and production equipment
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Possess strong work ethic , motivated, highly initiative, and able to function efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision
- Bachelors Technical Degree (BSEE) or equivalent manufacturing experience (10 years in related field).
- 5 years experience with HMI programming (Specifically using Wonderware, Historian, and SQL tools).
- 5 years experience with PLC programming (Specifically AB; PLC5, SLC, Micro/Control Logix, and Siemens S7).
- 5 years experience with AC/DC drive and motion control systems.
- Experience with machine network design and support (ie. Architecture, switch configuration, communication protocols, etc…)
- Experience in Autocad or Solidworks is a plus
