ShureLine Electrical Apprentice
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- 4 year an Electrical Apprenticeship Program/valid Apprenticeship License in Delaware
- Must possess a valid driver’s license w/ reliable transportation
- Must be willing to travel to Tri-State projects
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work and maintain a safe workplace while complying and adhering to safety policies and OSHA-mandated requirements
- Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
- Take direction from Leading Journeyperson/ Electrical Foreman to support the success of projects
- Perform all duties in compliance with company procedures and policies
Requirements:
- Candidate must have the ability to pass a drug screening and a criminal background check
- Candidate must have a good knowledge of the National Electric Code
- Candidate must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds properly
- Candidate must perform all duties in compliance with company procedures and policies
Physical Demands:
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must be able to maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions. Repetitive action includes squatting or kneel while wearing a toolbelt. The employee must be able to climb a ladder, pull wire and/or conduit, and bend pipe and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Work Environment:
- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee will have regular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humid, and/or rainy spring, summer, and fall weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. The employee will be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects. You will be required to wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and a hard hat where needed.
