Job Summary:

Shurco is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager who leads with accountability and initiative—someone who takes ownership of results, fosters collaboration, and brings clarity to complex communication needs. In this high-impact role, you’ll deliver tailored messaging that brings our brand and solutions to life—both in the marketplace and on the show floor. You’ll guide communication and content development that amplify Shurco’s value and visibility across multiple touchpoints, working cross-functionally to align positioning and messaging while leading the successful execution of industry shows.

This position is ideal for someone who is both strategic and hands-on—able to see the big picture, make confident, informed decisions, and ensure every Shurco event and communication reflects a unified, customer-centric brand.

Marketing Communications Leadership

• Work cross-functionally to lead the development of messaging and communications strategies that align with marketing programs and business priorities.
• Serve as the voice of Shurco, ensuring clarity and consistency of communications across all audiences and channels.
• Build modular, customer-centric content that can be adapted across audiences, formats, and campaigns to improve efficiency and cohesion.
• Strengthen collaboration and execution across the marketing team by improving prioritization, aligning campaigns and communications, and optimizing tools and processes for high-quality delivery.

Content Strategy & Development

• Lead the creation of customer-focused, value-driven content that differentiates Shurco in the marketplace and aligns with our brand personality and objectives.
• Translate complex or technical information into clear, benefit-oriented messaging that resonates with customers.
• Collaborate with and equip the Product Marketing Specialist with tailored content to expedite targeted customer communications.

Trade Show & Event Management

• Plan, organize, and lead Shurco’s trade show and distributor event presence from strategy through execution—managing logistics, booth design, communications strategy, and post-show follow-up.
• Ongoing collaboration with internal stakeholders and partners to deliver seamless, professional, and on-brand events.
• Ensure show communications reinforce Shurco’s brand positioning and support sales objectives.

Public Relations & Media Engagement

• Build and lead a PR and media engagement strategy to build awareness and strengthen industry perception.
• Own the “One Shurco” editorial calendar to align PR, content, and event timelines—ensuring consistent market visibility throughout the year. Collaborate with the Marketing Programs Lead to synchronize these activities with key launches and campaigns.
• Write and distribute press releases and editorial content highlighting company milestones and innovation.
• Cultivate relationships with editors, trade publications, and industry associations.
• Identify and pursue earned media opportunities and awards to elevate brand presence.

Required

• 7-10 years of experience in B2B marketing communications, channel marketing, PR, or content strategy.
• Proven success leading messaging or brand communications in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to turn technical information into customer-centered storytelling.
• Experience planning and executing trade show or event marketing programs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaboration across diverse teams.
• Ability to balance strategy and execution with attention to deadlines and detail.
• Familiarity with industrial, trucking, or commercial manufacturing sectors is a plus.
