Responsibilities
- Operate a wide range of heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction machinery to execute project tasks effectively.
- Safely handle specialized equipment such as concrete mixers, front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, farm machinery, and tankers to support various construction activities.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Assist with site preparation activities like grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and moving earth or debris.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to execute construction plans accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures diligently to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others.
- Document operations accurately through logs and reports to track equipment usage and project progress.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and similar machinery.
- Construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety standards and operational procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification for operating large vehicles like dump trucks or tanker trucks.
- Familiarity with construction tools including concrete mixers and farm machinery is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for demanding tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
